I really love the tricks and the way Bobo describes them. Some are easy to learn, which does not mean that they are ineffective. Others need a lot of time and practise. But most importantly you should have some passion for illusion, psychology, slight of hand and coins - this book will awake even greater passion in you.
Modern Coin Magic ist quasi die Bibel der Münzmagie und sollte bei jedem Magier, egal ob Anfänger oder Profi, im Bücherregal stehen.Das Buch ist dabei von einfach bis schwer aufgebaut und beginnt mit den Standards die man einfach beherrschen sollte - sprich diverse Griffe und Palmiertechniken. Erst wenn man dies mit kleinen einfachen Tricks und Bewegungen beherrscht, wird das Gelernte auf erste größere Tricks und ganze Routinen angewandt. Im Mittelteil des Buches folgen dann zum Beispiel verschiedene Techniken zum verschwinden lassen von Münzen und natürlich weitere Tricks. Der Anspruch nimmt dabei je nach Vorkenntnisse des Magiers im Laufe des Buches stetig zu. Viele Tricks und Griffe werden dabei mit Handzeichnungen illustriert, was allerdings zumindest anfangs viel Vorstellungsvermögen benötigt.Da das Buch in englischer Sprache geschrieben ist (und das teils etwas sehr sperrig), sollten gute Englischkenntnisse vorhanden sein.Modern Coin Magic ist ein tolles Kompendium aller gängigen Münztricks und -griffe. Nach dem Durcharbeiten des Buches ist man ein echter Profi. Sehr lesenswert und für Close-Up Künstler ein Muss!
Ausführliches Buch mit vielen Tricks und Tipps. Leider sind die Tricks aber nicht immer komplett nachvollziehbar, sodass auch die Abbildungen nicht weiterhelfen und man nicht weiterkommt.
Also als ich dieses Buch gekauft habe, konnte ich gerade mal den French Drop perfekt und jetzt kann ich noch andere Sleights perfekt.Leider bin ich noch nicht so gut im englisch lesen, deswegen verstehe ich nicht alles und das kotzt mich an:).Was ich so verstehe ist sehr gut zum begreifen und die Abbildungen helfen einem auch den Trick ohne Text zu erlernen.Es ist ein MUSS für Münzenanfänger und für diejenigen, die Münzentricks lieben.Nur zu empfehlen.
